Prakash Kumar, in his acting debut, and Nikki Galrani in is Tamil debut in the lead roles, with the former also composing the film's music. A remake of the 2013 Telugu film Prema Katha Chitram, the film was released on 15 January 2015. It got positive reviews and became a blockbuster at the box office.   This film deserves 10th place based on the Box office collection (32 crore) in the year of 2015.

Maya is a 2015 Indian horror film written and directed by Ashwin Saravanan.It features Nayantara and Aari playing the leads. Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli and Amzath khan playing supporting roles. The film and Nayanthara's performance have received positive reviews from critics and the film emerged as a blockbuster at the box office. Papanasam is a 2015 Indian Tamil thriller film directed by Jeethu Joseph and jointly produced by Suresh Balaje and Rajkumar Sethupathi. It is a remake of director's 2013 Malayalam film Drishyam, featuring Kamal Haasan and Gautami Tadimalla reprising the respective roles played by Mohanlal, Meena in the original. The film tells the story of Suyambulingam, a middle-class cable TV operator, and his family. They come under suspicion when Varun, the son of the Inspector-general of police (IG), goes missing soon after harassing Suyambu's daughter. The rest of the film reveals how Varun disappeared and what Suyambulingam does to keep his family from going to prison.   This film deserves 8th place based on the Box office collection (100 crore) in the year of 2015.

O Kadhal Kanmani (English: Oh Love, Apple of my Eye), also known as OK Kanmani, is a 2015 Indian Tamil romantic drama film written, directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, portraying a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai. Prakash Raj and Leela Samson play supporting roles as an older couple in the film, portraying the younger couple's landlords.  The film was said to be a "reflection of the modern mindset of urban India", dealing with issues such as marriage and traditional values.   The film featured music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by P. C. Sreeram and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Prior to the film's release, the soundtrack was well received and the promotional activity of the film on social media, also garnered praise. O Kadhal Kanmani was released on 17 April 2015, alongside its Telugu version OK Bangaram, and won positive reviews from critics, praising the lead pair's performances and the quality of the film's technical aspects. Thani Oruvan (English: The Lone Man) is a 2015 Indian Tamil action thriller film directed by Mohan Raja and written by Subha. The film, produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the production company AGS Entertainment, stars Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy and Nayanthara in lead roles. The plot revolves around IPS Officer Mithran who wants to arrest Siddharth Abhimanyu, an affluential scientist who uses hidden illegal medical practices for profit. The soundtrack was composed by Hiphop Tamizha. The cinematography and editing was handled by Ramji and Gopikrishna respectively. The film was released on 28 August 2015 to positive reviews from critics and became a blockbuster at box office.   This film deserves 6th place based on the Box office collection (105 crore) in the year of 2015.

Kanchana 2 (marketed as Muni 3: Kanchana 2) is a 2015 Tamil horror comedy film produced, written and directed by Raghava Lawrence, who enacted dual roles in it. It is the third installment in the Muni series after Muni 2: Kanchana. The film, also featuring Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Kovai Sarala in lead roles, released worldwide on 17 April 2015. The Telugu version Ganga was released on 1 May 2015.   This film deserves 5th place based on the Box office collection (120 crore) in the year of 2015.

Vedalam (English: Demon) is a 2015 Indian Tamil action-masala film written and directed by Siva, and produced by S. Aishwarya. Ajith Kumar (known as Thala)and Shruti Haasan play the lead roles, with Lakshmi Menon, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Kabir Duhan Singh among others, appearing in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film's music and background score, while Vetri and Ruben were the film's cinematographer and editor respectively. The film began production in April 2015 and was released on 10 November 2015, coinciding with Diwali.   This film deserves 4th place based on the Box office collection (130 crore) in the year of 2015.

Kaaka Muttai (English: The Crow's Egg) is a 2015 Indian Tamil comedy-drama film written, directed and filmed by M Manikandan. Jointly produced by Dhanushand Vetrimaaran and distributed by Fox Star Studios, it features newcomers, Vignesh and Ramesh, in the lead roles alongside Iyshwarya Rajesh. And has music composed by G V Prakash Kumar. Kaaka Muttai's story revolves around two slum children of Chennai, Tamil Nadu whose desire is to taste a pizza. The film had its world premiere on 5 September 2014 at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival, and was released worldwide on 5 June 2015, and received widespread acclaim for its story and cast performances. It went on to win two National Film Awards at the 2015 ceremony - Best Children's Film and Best Child Artist (Ramesh and Vignesh).   This film deserves 3rd place based on the Box office collection (150 crore) in the year of 2015.

I (also known as Shankar's I ) is a 2015 Indian Tamil romantic thriller film written and directed by S. Shankar and co-written by Subha. Produced and distributed by V. Ravichandran under his production company, Aascar Films, the film features Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles while Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesan portray pivotal roles. The soundtrack and film score were composed by A. R. Rahman. Production design was handled by T. Muthuraj. P. C. Sreeram was the film's cinematographer and editing was done by Anthony. The visual effects were designed by V. Srinivas Mohan through Rising Sun Pictures. Weta Workshop had worked on the digital and prosthetic make-up and background arts for the film. Principal photography commenced on 15 July 2012. The filming lasted for two years and eight months, during which shooting was done extensively inChina. Further schedules were filmed in locations in Chennai, Bangkok, Jodhpur, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Bangalore and Mysore. The film was dubbed and released inTelugu and Hindi along with the Tamil version.  The film, released on 14 January 2015, tells the story of a body builder turned super model, played by Vikram, who after being deformed, exacts revenge upon those who were responsible for his predicament. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics, who praised Vikram's performance and the technical aspects of the film, but criticized the writing and the film's excessive length.   This film deserves 2nd place based on the Box office collection (225 crore) in the year of 2015.

Baahubali: The Beginning is a 2015 Indian bilingual epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, it is the first of two cinematic parts. The film was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam and French languages. A fictional story of two warring brothers fighting for control of an ancient Indian kingdom, it stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.  Ramya Krishnan,Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep appear in supporting roles. The Soundtrack and background score were composed by M. M. Keeravani while the cinematography, editing, art direction and visual effects supervision were done by K. K. Senthil Kumar, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, Sabu Cyril and V. Srinivas Mohan respectively. The film made on a budget of â‚¹120 crore (US$18 million) released worldwide on 10 July 2015 to positive reviews from critics, and became the highest grossing Indian film within India and third highest grossing Indian film globally. It became the first south Indian film to gross over â‚¹600 crore (US$90 million) worldwide and the first non-Hindi film to gross over â‚¹100 crore (US$15 million) in dubbed Hindi version in India. It is also the highest grossing Telugu film of all time. This film deserves 1st place based on the Box office collection (est. 600crore) in the year of 2015.
